To ensure the continuation of the fruitfull cooperation beyond NEWBRAIN, project partners agreed the NEWBRAIN transnational strategy, adopted through the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding.
The transnational strategy aims to achieve a stronger level of integration, resiliency and modernization of the transport and logistics system of the Adriatic Ionian area, promoting the development of transnational innovative actions in the field of sustainable and interconnected transport, thus contributing to enhance the freight flows connections within the territories of the Adriatic Ionian Macro-Region and with the European regions as a whole, for the economic and social well-being of the area.
The future cooperation of NEWBRAIN project partners will focus on 2 horizontal and coopertive topics:
- Sustainable and energy efficient transport
- Innovation and digitalization of transport and logistic operations in the Adriatic-Ionian Macro regional area
